Home Remedies for Colds
I got colds the other day. Right now, the cold virus is still in my system. I took a Neozep tablet this morning, the non-drowsy kind. Just when I was starting to get convinced that medicines are the best way to fight colds, I stumbled upon some effective home remedies for colds on the web. One site prescribes taking a spoonful of honey to get rid of the cold virus. Another one advises drinking a cup of hot lemonade. There is also this site that offers a more natural way for cold relief, that is, by drinking lots of fluids (e.g. water and juices) and getting lots of rest. If you prefer home remedies over medicines, this information may be of help to you just as it has been to me. And yeah, hopefully my colds dissapear tomorrow and I get back to my normal and able self again. :)

Finally, some "me" time. I start classes this week which is going to be a pain in the backside, I'm actually starting "budgeting and forecasting" which sounds like hard work. Just like my last two subjects which was a pain to study for, I totally hated the debits and credits and at least I managed to get myself a High Distinction for that subject. I only got a Distinction for my Management in Accounting class though, still pretty good. Now I am determined to get my High Distinction in both these subjects and obtain a Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) on Communications. I still wonder why I am doing Accounting as my chosen career field. Ugh. I have requested for leave at my work for a week. It has been approved so now I can fully plan our road trip with my tubby boyfriend. I'm actually driving up to see you Maria and the others, but first we are going to hire a manual car to do so.
